Chicory coffee and homemade coffee syrups
Our journey
to decaffeinated coffee
Many people ask us about a decaffeinated coffee option. At first we offered decaffeinated coffee, but the method of its production did not match our philosophy.
That's why we replaced it with coffee made from ristretto. Ristretto is extracted for a shorter time than espresso, so only a little caffeine can be washed out. However, it is still not ideal for people with stomach problems. So it was not an optimal solution for us either.
We searched and tried different variants and now we consider chicory or dandelion coffee to be the best decaffeinated coffee.
Chicory coffee
The root of chicory (lat. Cichorium intybus) is washed, cut, dried and then roasted and ground into small pieces.
Chicory drink resembles coffee in appearance and smell. However, it does not contain caffeine, does not irritate the stomach and is also suitable for children.
Effects:
It stimulates the activity of the digestive organs (stomach, gall bladder, pancreas, spleen), treats inflammations in the digestive tract, is slightly diuretic and has a mild laxative effect.

Ingredients: 100% roasted chicory root
We like to use chicory as a substitute for coffee in all kinds of hot coffees.
Quality syrups to flavor coffee
Over the years, you've asked us about coffee syrups. We refused them because we didn't want to give you flavorings, preservatives and colorings from commonly sold syrups. However, this year we found an amazing syrup producer from Olomouc - Sirupárna s.r.o..
At Sirupárna, they have the same philosophy as us = no aromas, dyes or chemical "improvers". It's a family business, they make syrups from what happens to be harvested at small proven farmers and fill everything in glass bottles.
And that's why you can now enjoy new flavors of coffee, cocoa and tea with us.
